The Polo Shirt; Three Ways to Wear

The polo shirt. Versatile, steeped in heritage and timeless. A wardrobe staple for men and women alike, the polo shirt’s popularity never wanes, so here’s our take on how to wear this fine little number:

Suit it

Get sharp like Ryan Gosling and style your polo with a suit or blazer. If you’re going for a neutral tone on the suit, you can afford to go for a bolder colour or a shirt with some contrast detailing for a smart, statement look. Perfect for work to night out or on a date.

Riviera ready

Ok, so we’re not suggesting you channel every aspect of The Talented Mr Ripley, but, style wise, this look is pretty hard to beat, especially for summer and those mini breaks. Go for a tipped collar contrast polo, buttons undone with some Bermuda/chino shorts, Espadrilles and tortoise shell wayfarers for a nautical vibe or swap for pastel tones for a preppy look.

Button up like Luther

Idris loves a polo. Worn with suits, trainers and jeans, any which way. But one of his favorite looks is a neutral buttoned up polo paired with chinos and some black leather Converse or Plimsouls. This styling is perfect for a relaxed weekend look, and all you need to do is switch for a long sleeve for the winter months.
